Thinking of Fede

The latest update regarding the Italian group has now released the names of the two people that passed away. They were caught in an avalanche after summiting. Unfortunately, the guide was Federico Campanini. He was one of Wes and Dan's guides on their Denali trip in May. Wes always mentioned how much he liked Federico (Fede). Please keep his family in your thoughts.

    My heart just hit the floor to hear about Fede! Fede was a great person and a great guide on Denali!

    Wes ... I just heard about Fede from John Carney. That's crazy. After McKinley, I was pretty sure Fede invincible. Hard to believe.

    I am sorry about the dead of one of your friends. I am a friend of the german climber Stefan Jeromin, who died last week on the mountain and I still cant believe that it is really him. Does anybody of you know more about what happened last weekend 3rd of Jan on the mountain. As Stefan was alone on this trip, I dont know what really happened in his live the last days.
